My Story

Why Modern Vintage Stationery?

Inspired by the love stories of old, I was drawn to the romance of calligraphy at a young age. Leafing through my mother’s calligraphy magazines was one of my favourite pastimes. I rekindled this passion in 2021 and have lovingly crafted wedding stationery for couples ever since.

I am proud to create beautiful, custom wedding stationery, crafted to suit each couple’s tastes and needs. Colours, textures, fonts and materials are so important and tell a distinct story that is unique to their love story. That’s why I only work with a select number of couples each year, to ensure I can spend months (and even years!) before the big day, working closely with them to perfect every detail.

The most memorable piece of wedding stationery I have made was a bespoke sign for the bride in honour of her late Grandfather. He had sadly passed away before her wedding day, so it meant the world to me to help ensure a part of him was there with her.

Based from my home studio in South London, I work with couples throughout London and surrounding areas, including Surrey and Essex. I love to hand-deliver your stationery if your venue is close by. I can also set up on-the-day if you would like, so you can be assured all the details will be styled to perfection.

I also welcome working with couples across the UK and beyond.

My No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples:

Allocate pockets of time throughout the day where it’s just you & your partner. No photographers, bridal squad or interference. Always make sure your wedding is about you & your other half, creating a wonderful everlasting moment.

My Passions:

I absolutely love Comedy TV: Big Bang Theory, Brooklyn Nine Nine (ended terribly I thought though!) & Modern Family.
I am a qualified teacher with over 15 years experience! My favourite ages to teach are Nursery & Reception- no two days are ever the same!
I am a HUGE Disney fan and have been to Disneyland/World 5 times already. You can never have enough Disney in your life. My ultimate dream would be to create stationery for a Disney themed wedding.
Journaling: I spend my Sunday mornings journaling my week. You will always catch glimpses of this on my Instagram page. I love it too much not to share!

My most memorable wedding:

My first one! I designed & created a bespoke sign for the bride, in honour of her late Grandfather who passed before her wedding. It meant so much to me as I had always wished my grandfather to be present for mine,

Bunny Instagram pages: I’m a sucker for those wiggly noses and floppy ears. I’ve had a few live cage free with me in my lifetime, my most recent was my good boy Alfie, who live to the grand old age of 12.
Hairstyle inspirations: My standard go to is a low bun… or …a high bun. I need to find other styles that don’t look like I can’t be bothered.
Dog Training pages: I don’t have a dog, I’ve always wanted one, but I’m simply so fascinated about how they can be trained to do so many things!
